Well this past year has been quite interesting with respect to the varied roles that I’ve played and the travel that I’ve been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience.  Chernobyl Diaries is out on VOD and DVD now, Company of Heroes was released on DVD on Feb. 26th, 2013 and kicks ass.  Clubhouse, the really dark thriller about a good guy who is surrounded by throat cutting, back stabbing “Friends”, is in the final process of being a finished product.  I actually play guitar on camera in the film and will be playing in the soundtrack next week.  The composer, Sean Murray, is a very talented, polished composer.  I can’t wait to hear what it is that he wrote for me to lay down on tape.  I’m expecting nothing short of another amazing score from his musical mind.  A web series called “Regeneration Agenda” which I did about 5 months ago is going to hit the web soon.  It is a multi-episode series for TV that deals with today’s international arms dealing.  I play Zakir, the head Chechnyan leader in it.  In the commercial department, I have a Velveeta Liquid Gold commercial that is airing nationally for the past few months.  I am the limo driver.  In the world of Voice over, I just did my first car commercial for a radio spot for Lexus.  Moving up in the world.  Too slowly for my taste, but always forward.

The Latest Dimitri

The last few months have been very busy for Dimitri. In the world of voice overs he has two national commercials running on TV and radio. Hefty sliders is the first and the voice of Comcast Cable Company is the second. Dimitri has also added Metro:Last Night, Tomb Raider, The Last of Us, Company of Heroes 2 and an untitled Sony project to his long list of video game characters. He just shot an on-camera national commercial last week for Velveeta, which should hit TVs in a month.

What’s New

May 25th is the theatrical release date for the Oren Peli horror film, Chernobyl Diaries. The action-adventure-WWII film, Company of Heroes will be in theaters in December, the same time that the video game by the same name will hit store shelves. Dimitri plays the role of Ivan Puzharsky in both the film and the video game adaptation. In other news Dimitri has also lended his voice to the newest Hefty tv commercial campaign and the newest Post-apocalyptic video game, The Last of Us.

Announced only today via press release, we learn Alcon Entertainment was partnered with Warner Bros. to bring Brad Parker’s horror-thriller Chernobyl Diaries to theaters this coming Memorial Day weekend where it will face off against Sony’s Men in Black III. The film was written and produced by Oren Peli whom you all know as the writer/director of Paranormal Activity not to mention producer of last year’s horror success Insidious and the recent television show “The River.” As for Parker, you may not be so familiar with his name, but you are with his work. He worked as visual effects supervisor on 2010’s Let Me In and served as a digital artist on David Fincher’s Fight Club. Chernobyl Diaries marks his directorial debut. Originally titled The Diary of Lawson Oxford, the film stars Jonathan Sadowski, Jesse McCartney, Nathan Phillips, Olivia Dudley, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Devin Kelley and Dimitri Diatchenko »
